ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) and LUNCHEON
To be held on Thursday 2nd April 2026
THE AGM
The Air Force Association ACT Division invites Members, and their partners and/or carers, to attend the AGM of the association on THURSDAY 2nd April 2026 commencing at 11.30 am.

The venue is the Ainslie Football Club, 52 Wakefield Ave, Ainslie ACT 2602.
To date we have nominations for a President, Vice president, Secretary, Treasurer and four ordinary committee members. Our constitution allows for six ordinary committee members. Please give consideration to helping the committee by nominating for ANY of the positions listed above. The nomination form can be found here. Please note that nominations must reach the Secretary prior to 29th March.
If no further nominations are received, nominations for two ordinary committee members can be accepted at the meeting.
LUNCHEON
The AGM will be followed a luncheon commencing at 12.30 pm. Cost for the luncheon is $40 per person for a 2 course meal with tea/coffee.
Our guest speaker will be Wing Commander Michael "Gus" GARSIDE. Gus' topic is "C130 Aircraft Double Engine Failure in Arizona".
If you would like to attend please advise The Treasurer via acttreas@raafaact.org.au as soon as possible, advising any special dietary requirements, or in any event by Thursday 26th March 2026.
Payment for the meal can be made either by cheque (made out to AFA ACT Division) or by direct debit.
